Places we left out, and places to read with care
Left out: Maitland Park. They have almost no residents: their crimes are against visitors, so a rate per resident says little about living there.
Lower Holloway (31.5 per 1,000 from 29 crimes among 920 residents), St Pancras (4.5 per 1,000 from 7 crimes among 1,568 residents) and Euston Square (158.8 per 1,000 from 280 crimes among 1,763 residents) are places with few residents (under 3,000): a rate on so few people says little about living there, so they are not named as the lowest or highest.
